Jane Read

Jane Read has three sons and a daughter who have been a major focus throughout her life and she now has four grandchildren, a horse and two ponies for carriage driving. She has worked in various teaching roles and as a family therapist. She is now employed by York Carers as a peer supporter of people with a family member suffering from mental illness.

Jane has recently completed her memoir and is now seeking representation. She has also been offered the opportunity to write a hybrid book which combines research with personal narrative, for publication with ISPS/ Routledge
