Tanya Frank

Tanya Frank is an author, mentor and a mother of a son with psychosis. Her memoir Zig-Zag Boy: Motherhood, Madness and Letting Go was an editors’ choice book for the New York Times Book Review.

Tanya has an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of Riverside, California. She is a recipient of the Marcia McQuern Award for excellence in Creative Nonfiction, and was awarded a DYCP Arts Council England funding to create the podcast DOWNWRITE MAD. She sits on the board of Soteria London CIC and is currently engaged in research with Bath Spa University.
